Project Rebuild: A Day of Joy and Learning at KidZania
On 14 June 2025, 73 children and mothers from Anglican Family Centre, Star Shelter, and Casa Raudha Ltd came together for a memorable day at KidZania Singapore, led by a dedicated team of volunteers. This special outing, part of SWA’s Project Rebuild initiative, was designed to bring joy, build confidence, and provide a meaningful escape for families rebuilding their lives.
The children had the opportunity to experience a day in KidZania’s unique learning environment — a city run by kids, for kids. They took on various fun and educational roles, learning how to earn Kidzo tokens through different job stations such as firefighters, chefs, pilots, and models. Beyond the excitement, the activities helped the children develop confidence, teamwork, and a sense of achievement.
The day’s success would not have been possible without the generous support of Symrise Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, whose donation made this meaningful event a reality. SWA extends our heartfelt thanks to Symrise for believing in our mission and investing in the well-being of the community.
We would also like to express our deepest appreciation to the staff from Anglican Family Centre, Star Shelter, and Casa Raudha Ltd, whose coordination and care ensured every child and mother had a safe, enjoyable, and uplifting experience.
A special congratulations goes out to the four children who earned the highest Kidzo balances and the two best-performing participants in the City Parade, H&M Fashion Show, and Magic Show. Their enthusiasm, creativity, and determination earned them well-deserved prizes, adding to the joy of the day.
Most importantly, we thank the incredible volunteers from Symrise and SWA. Their time, energy, and kindness created a warm and supportive environment for the families, turning a simple day out into a cherished memory.
Project Rebuild continues to serve families in need through community outreach, educational programs, and wellness activities. We hope this event inspires more individuals and organizations to come forward and support our mission. Every donation, large or small, helps us create opportunities and brighter futures for vulnerable communities.
If you or your company would like to be part of this meaningful journey, we welcome your partnership in our upcoming projects. Together, we can rebuild hope, restore dignity, and strengthen lives.
