On February 19, 2025, the Singapore Women’s Association (SWA), in collaboration with PetroChina International (Singapore), hosted a Lunar New Year lunch for our seniors at the Chui Huay Lim Club. This event invited over 300 seniors from eight Active Ageing Centres (AACs) across Singapore, including Chinatown Banda AAC, SNM AAC, Brahm Centre Simei, and ComSA@Whampoa, Moral AAC @Redhill, THK AAC @ Bukit Merah and THK AAC @ Indus and NTUC Health. With PetroChina, SWA has been committed to fostering joy and community spirit among our seniors since 2006.

Adding to the lively atmosphere was the presence of the God of Wealth, who delighted attendees with his vibrant interactions.

The programme includes activities designed to uplift our seniors’ spirits and create lasting memories. Highlights included a Lo-Hei session, symbolising prosperity and good health for the year ahead, and musical performances that filled the room with warmth and laughter. The seniors’ smiles and laughter created the strong connection fostered by SWA’s initiatives, such as their regular Laughter Yoga sessions at four participating AACs.
