Event Setup and Decorations
The event began with befrienders escorting residents from their wards to the multi-purpose hall, which had been beautifully decorated in red and white by a dedicated volunteer team led by Sandra Lawady and volunteers from Symrise Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. The hall was transformed with National Day themed décor, featuring game booths, photo corners, and an ice cream stall to create a festive atmosphere.
Performances and Entertainment
Residents enjoyed a vibrant programme of songs, dances, and laughter yoga. The stage performances encouraged residents to clap, sing along, and move to the music, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration. The singing and dancing team was expertly led by Cecilia Thean.

Interactive Activities
Throughout the celebration, volunteers sat with residents, engaged with them personally, and guided them to various activity stations. The game booths, coordinated by Adeline Teow, provided interactive entertainment where residents could participate in National Day themed games and activities.
The photo corners allowed residents and volunteers to capture memorable moments together, creating lasting memories of the National Day celebration.
One of the most beloved activities was sharing ice cream treats together, bringing back nostalgic memories and adding a sweet touch to the celebration.
