SWA Organised Eye Screening at Khalsa Dharmak Sabha Gurudwara

Singapore Women’s Association (SWA) organised a Singapore Visioncare Programme (SVP) eye screening event on 8 September 2024, in conjunction with The Local Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of MacPherson at Khalsa Dharmak Sabha Gurudwara.

The community event began with a welcoming breakfast of fresh chapati and teh halia, followed by participants observing the Gurudwara’s customs including the wearing of head scarves. The morning proceeded with meaningful eye screening services and cheerful interactions among attendees.

This collaborative initiative demonstrates SWA’s commitment to bringing essential healthcare services to diverse community spaces, fostering interfaith cooperation while addressing important health needs in the community.
