Joyce Ng

Joyce is member of Singapore Women’s Association (SWA) since 1991, and actively volunteer in SWA’s core programmes such as Singapore Visioncare Programme (SVP), yearly Lunar New Year Lunch for the Elderly, annual charity dinner fund raising event and other fund-raising projects.

Contribution/ Experience

• Committee Member, Treasurer, Asst Treasurer, and Asst Secretary of SWA
• Organising committee member for fund-raising events for:
  • Miss Singapore International (MSI) beauty pageants (2002-2019)
  • Jumbo Feast with Hearts (2015-2021)
  • SWA’s Harmony Walk @Bishan Park 2013
  • Community Day 2012
  • SWA Flag Day 2011
  • SWA Family Walk 2003
• Organising committee member for Federation of Asia-Pacific Women’s Association (FAWA) Convention held in Singapore for the years 2004 and 2016
• Participated in FAWA Conventions held in the Philippines, Guam, Taiwan, and South Korea
• Participated in the Women’s Sports Festival held in Macau in the years 2011 and 2018

Achievement

• Long Service Award SMRT – 35 years (2019)
• SMRT Service Excellence Award (2013)
• Long Service Award from the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) in recognition of invaluable voluntary service to SWA

Aspirations

• To be able to give back to society as and when I have time to contribute
• To be able to live a healthy and fulfilling life
• To be able to give support to the women in need
