About Singapore Women's Association
Singapore Women's Association - Empowering Women, Supporting Community
Founded in June 1954 as the Siglap Girls' Club, the Singapore Women's Association has grown from serving underprivileged girls to becoming a cornerstone of community empowerment in Singapore.
Officially renamed in 1960, SWA expanded its mission to empowering women and supporting the elderly across our nation. As a founding member of the Federation of Asian Women's Associations, we've championed social welfare and community well-being for over seven decades.
From launching the Singapore VisionCare Programme to establishing our Annual Charity Dinner and creating the Athena Academy, SWA continues to adapt and serve our community's evolving needs.
